Outline of Research at the Start

地域在住高齢者を対象に、対面およびICT（情報通信技術）を介したコミュニケーション形態に基づくソーシャルネットワークの構成を明らかにし、それらが認知機能に与える影響を検証することを目的とする。近年、ICTの普及と新型コロナウイルスの影響により、高齢者のコミュニケーション形態が大きく変化し、デジタル・ディバイドが顕在化している。文献調査に基づく理論的枠組みの構築、インタビュー調査による実態把握、約2,000名を対象とした横断・縦断調査を通じて、コミュニケーション形態と認知機能の関連を統計的に分析する。ポストコロナ期における高齢者の社会的つながりと認知機能維持に資するエビデンスを創出する。
