Outline of Research at the Start	本研究では、物語創作に資する、マンガを活用した教材の開発を目指す。国語科教育において、マンガを活用した創作実践は多種多様に存在し、その有効性が報告されてきた。しかしそれらの報告においてはマンガの必要性が必ずしも明確ではなく、またその効果は、客観的な検証が行われてこなかった。そこで本研究では、マンガのメディア特性に着目し、その効果を検証して理論的な裏付けを行い、授業で実装可能な教材モデルを提案する。具体的な方法・手順としては、①先行実践を踏まえてマンガのメディア特性に着目した教材を開発し、②開発した教材と、他の教材を用いた際に産出された物語の比較を試み、③試行実践を行い、評価する。
