Outline of Research at the Start

変形性膝関節症の潜在的な患者数は日本人の約5人に1人と推定され、日常的な膝の痛みを即座に軽減できる治療は重要性が高い。即効性のある保存療法は、理学療法士による歩行分析に基づいて作成されるインソールが効果的である。しかし視覚障害がある理学療法士では、歩きを短時間で繰り返し見て観察するような歩行分析は、障害との相性が悪く習得が難渋し、障害により歩行分析技能の習得が制限されることが問題である。本研究では歩行時痛のある患者の歩行を機械的に評価し、疼痛を軽減できるインソールの作成を支援する総合歩行評価法の開発を行う。
