Outline of Research at the Start	畜産物の安全性確保は世界が取り組むべき重要課題である。一部の開発途上国では食の安全が担保されておらず、先進国からの積極的な支援が求められている。家畜、畜産物を管理する獣医師は食の安全性確保に重要な役割を持つ一方、課題解決には、市民を交えた社会全体での対話（サイエンスコミュニケーション）が必要不可欠である。本研究は、途上国における畜産物の安全性確保のための獣医師によるサイエンスコミュニケーションの実現を目的とし、獣医師に対し、当該分野の、１．専門知識、２．社会への普及啓発の重要性と獣医師の社会的責任、３．現状の理解と危機感、を涵養する教育・研修プログラムを制作・実践する。
