Outline of Research at the Start

多様体などの位相空間や距離空間は幾何学における重要な研究対象であるが，連続的な対象であるために直接取り扱うことは難しく，特に計算機に載せることは困難である．その一方で代数的位相幾何学という分野では，そのような連続的な情報を(線形)代数的な情報へと帰着して研究を行うため，これを介することで計算機に載せることが可能となる．
本研究では，そのためのプログラムを開発するとともに，プログラムを実際に活用して数学的な成果を得ることを目的にしている．具体的には，距離空間のマグニチュードホモロジーや位相空間の特異コホモロジーを，計算機を活用した代数的な手法により研究する．
