Outline of Research at the Start

タンパク質の液-液相分離において、タンパク質を取り囲む溶媒の性質に着目することで相分離現象の物理的な解明を目指す。溶媒の効果はタンパク質の構造や機能についてよく知られているが、液-液相分離に与える効果は分かっていない。本研究では、溶媒の性質を考慮しながら分子シミュレーションを行い、液-液相分離の発生メカニズムを理解するとともに、相分離状態における生体分子の運動状態の解析を行う。
