Outline of Research at the Start

This research aims to develop heterogeneous catalysts using ionic liquids (ILs) to convert CO2 into cyclic carbonates by coupling with epoxides under mild and green conditions. The catalyst will be developed by incorporating active metal complexes into IL-functionalized SBA-15 (MX-IL-SBA-15).
