Outline of Research at the Start	「新しい生物資源を開拓すれば、全く新しい天然物を発見することができる」という天然物化学者の経験則は、近年のビッグデータ解析により正しいことが明らかとなっている。そこで本研究では、採集・分離した細菌の分子系統解析を16S リボソーム RNA（16S rRNA）を用いて実施し、天然物化学分野において未利用な細菌を選抜する。未利用な細菌を探索資源に用いることで、革新的な新規天然物を発見する。
