Outline of Research at the Start

ダイズは日本の食文化において発酵食品を始めとした様々な形で利用され、海外とは異なる独自の発展を遂げている。近年の研究により、日本ダイズはゲノム情報からも海外のダイズと分化していることが示され、日本ダイズ独自の有用遺伝子の存在が示唆された。本研究では、日本各地からダイズ品種を集め、日本ダイズに特化したGWASパネルを構築し、日本ダイズ固有の有用遺伝子の同定を試みる。
