Outline of Research at the Start

イヌでは、食べ物に関わる問題行動（異嗜、食物関連性攻撃行動など）が頻繁に認められる。本研究では、遺伝子変異が食べ物に関わる問題行動の発現リスクに与える影響を解析し、問題行動の発現と遺伝子の関連を明らかにする。さらに、変異がイヌのトレーニング能力（トレーナビリティ）に与える影響を解析し、問題行動予防の土台となるトレーナビリティと遺伝子の関連を明らかにする。本研究により、遺伝学的側面から問題行動のリスク評価や制御に資する知見を得られると期待される。
