Outline of Research at the Start

ウイルス感染や細胞ストレスにより細胞質に漏出したDNAは、STING経路を介して炎症応答を誘導する。申請者は、STINGがリソソームミクロオートファジー（LMA）により分解され、炎症が終息する仕組みを発見した。本研究では、LMAを制御する分子機構とその破綻による炎症性疾患発症メカニズムを解明する。
