Outline of Research at the Start

アルツハイマー病は記憶や認知能力が低下する疾患であり、現行の治療法は限られている。本研究は2025年4月から2028年3月までの3年間にわたり、「SAGPワクチン」のアルツハイマー病（AD）に対する有効性を検討する。SAGPは老化細胞に多く存在する物質であり、先行研究においてSAGPワクチンが細胞内のSAGP発現を減少させ、病態を改善することが確認されている。したがって、本研究ではマウス実験を通じて、SAGPを標的とするワクチンがAD症状を改善するか、また脳に及ぼす変化および認知行動の向上を確認し、将来の治療法開発の基盤を構築することを目指す。
