Outline of Research at the Start

申請者らは食道癌の診断バイオマーカーとして複数の成熟型miR、isomiRを候補として報告した。その中でisomiR-205-5pは手術前後の血液検体の比較でほぼ全例で術後に発現低下を認めており、病勢マーカーとして有用性が高いと考えている。
本研究では、食道癌患者の治療前、手術後、及び再発症例における再発時の血液検体を用いてisomiR-205-5pの発現を評価する。治療前の生検検体、外科切除検体を用いて、組織内でのisomiR-205-5pの発現も評価する。更には食道癌進展における機能を明らかにし、治療ターゲットとなり得るかを評価することを目標とする。
