Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、潰瘍性大腸炎に特異的な新規自己抗体「抗インテグリンαvβ6抗体」の病原性と病態形成への関与を解明し、新たな治療法の開発を目指す。まず、患者由来のモノクローナル抗体を用いて、その大腸上皮への影響と炎症誘発能をマウスモデルにて評価する。さらに、自己抗体による上皮バリア障害やシグナル伝達経路の解析を通じて、抗体標的治療に資する新たな治療標的分子の同定を行う。本研究により、UCの病因解明と個別化治療戦略の構築が期待される。
