Outline of Research at the Start

腸管の慢性炎症疾患である炎症性腸疾患では不眠症の有病率が高く、実臨床における患者の心理的な負荷となっている。マウスを用いた先行研究で心理的および外的ストレスによって炎症性腸疾患モデルで炎症の増悪が報告され、申請者らのヒトでの調査でも不眠症を有すると炎症性腸疾患の炎症が増悪することを報告し、炎症性腸疾患の治療に不眠症治療を加えることで抗炎症作用が期待できる可能性を見出した。本研究では心理的負荷の不眠症に焦点を当て、炎症性腸疾患における心理的負荷の改善がもたらす抗炎症作用の基礎的・臨床的な解明を行う。
