Outline of Research at the Start	炎症性腸疾患は、腸管に炎症を起こす原因不明の慢性疾患であり、その原因は未だ解明されていない。炎症性腸疾患の発症として腸内微生物叢の異常が免疫の過剰反応を誘導していることがこれまで報告されている。腸内微生物には細菌のみではなく細菌に感染するBacteriophageが存在し、Bacteriophageが腸管内の細菌の代謝や構成を変化させている。炎症性腸疾患の病態により密接に関与している細菌として腸管上皮の粘液に存在する粘液関連細菌叢が着目されている。これらの制御がより病態に重要な役割を果たしていることが考えられているが、実際にこれらの細菌がどのように構成が変化しているかは不明であった。
