Outline of Research at the Start

PANoptosisは、Pyroptosis、Apoptosis、Necroptosisというプログラム細胞死経路が相互作用し、複合的に活性化する現象である。本研究では、この細胞死経路を人為的に制御するための分子ツールを開発し、PANoptosisが誘導される際のシグナル伝達機構を解明する。特に細胞死が深く関与する皮膚疾患に着目し、疾患モデル細胞などを用いてPANoptosisの制御機構を解析することで、病態の解明につながることが期待される。
