Outline of Research at the Start

肺線維症の病態形成に細胞老化が関与することが明らかとなっているが、関節リウマチに併発する間質性肺疾患 (RA-ILD) において、その関与は不明である。申請者はこれまでに、SKGマウスのILD (SKG-ILD) において、p21など複数の細胞老化マーカーが蓄積し、SKG-ILDの病態に細胞老化が関与していることを明らかにした。本研究では、SKG-ILDをsingle cell RNA sequencing解析し、細胞老化を来した細胞の特徴と機能を解析し、ILDの病態形成との関連を解析する。本研究によりRA-ILDの病態に新たな知見が得られ、老化細胞を標的とした治療法の創出が期待される。
