Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では減量代謝改善手術を受けた病的肥満症患者の腹腔内脂肪・末梢血液における免疫細胞を解析することで「腹腔内脂肪 NK 細胞による慢性炎症の誘導機構」を解明し、「肥満症における慢性炎症の制御法の開発」を目指す。申請者らはNK細胞が炎症性サイトカインによりmemory機能を獲得し慢性炎症を生じることを明らかにしてきた。本研究では臨床サンプルを用いてNK細胞による炎症の誘導機構を解明する。さらに食餌性肥満マウスに間葉系幹細胞を投与し免疫状態および体重減少や代謝性疾患との関連を解析する。
