Outline of Research at the Start

直腸癌局所再発の手術は極めて困難であり、良好な治療成績には入念な術前シミュレーションが不可欠である。特に骨盤の解剖は複雑で、術前プランニングを支援する有効なツールが求められてきた。しかし、診断画像の精度や支援ソフトの不足により、3D可視化ツールの開発は進んでいなかった。
本研究では、CT/MRI画像を統合し、血管・骨盤骨・腫瘍・神経などを可視化する3D骨盤画像モデルを作成・定型化する。さらに、3Dプリンターによる「手にとって役立つ」3D骨盤プリントモデルを作成し、術前プランニングの精度向上を目指す。本モデルの普及により、根治性向上や合併症低減など、高難度骨盤手術の治療成績改善が期待される。
