Outline of Research at the Start	一般的に、硬膜を含めた髄膜マクロファージは脳境界マクロファージと定義されている。これまでに硬膜の炎症が脳実質に影響を及ぼし行動学的に影響を及ぼす可能性を示唆した報告や、片頭痛モデルにおいて脳髄膜マクロファージが疼痛発症との関連を示唆する報告があるが、その生理学的な詳細な機能や役割についてはいまだ不明な点が多い。本研究では、線維筋痛症モデルマウスを対象に、痛覚変調性疼痛の発症と脳髄膜・脳内マクロファージの関連を免疫組織学的に検討し、線維筋痛症の発症機序の一端を検討・解明することを目的とする。さらに、マクロファージをターゲットとした線維筋痛症の新たな治療法を模索することを目標とする。
