Outline of Research at the Start	本研究課題は「睡眠障害がIGF-1分泌低下を引き起こし、それがICU-AWの発症や回復遅延と関連するのか」を明らかにすることを目的とする。ICU-AWが急性期とその後の二層性で生じるにもかかわらず、従来の研究は主に集中治療期間のみを対象としていた。またICU退室後長期的に重症患者に頻発する睡眠障害や、それに伴うIGF-1分泌低下のICU-AWへの関与はこれまで検討されていない。我々の研究でその点が明らかになれば、未だ発生率を減少させることができていないICU-AWの新たな予防・治療方法確立の基盤となり得る。
