Outline of Research at the Start	脳腫瘍である神経膠腫の診断はゲノム解析が必須である。WHO分類改訂第５版においては、ゲノム解析をおこない特定の遺伝子異常を検出できなければ、組織分類と悪性度評価、および診断をおこなうことは不可能である。よって複数の遺伝子を同時に解析をおこなうことが必須になるが本邦における保険収載された遺伝子パネル検査は、治療法をみつけることを主たる目的としており、診断ツールとしての使用は認めていない。よって、メチル化アレイ解析と並行型シーケンサー、２つの解析を組み合わせ、これまで特徴的なmolecular markerが見つかっていなかった脳腫瘍分類の一つであるNECの診断分類的特徴を研究する。
