Outline of Research at the Start

子宮頸部すりガラス細胞癌（glassy cell carcinoma, GCC）は、AYA世代の女性を中心に発生する極めて予後不良な子宮頸癌の稀少組織型であり、特異的診断マーカーや治療標的が未解明である。そこで本研究では、婦人科悪性腫瘍研究機構で実施中のJGOG1086S研究で登録された133例の臨床検体について、病理AI、蛍光多重染色、遺伝子変異解析及び遺伝子発現解析を行うことで、GCCの本態を解明し、診断方法の確立および治療標的を明らかにすることを目的とする。本研究はGCCの試料解析研究として世界最多の規模であり、予後不良なGCCの新規治療方法を開発することを最終目標とする。
