Outline of Research at the Start	インスリン様成長因子結合タンパク質2(IGFBP2) は、インスリン様成長因子(IGF)シグナルの調節に関与する代謝関連因子であり、さまざまな悪性腫瘍において腫瘍進展や予後不良と関連していることが報告されている。申請者はIGFBP2が免疫療法の抵抗性と関連があることを発見したが、免疫抑制を起こす機序はわかっていない。本研究では、IGFBP2が腫瘍微小環境における免疫抑制性細胞の誘導や機能に与える影響を解析し、頭頸部がんにおける免疫逃避機構を明らかにすることを目的とする。またIGFBP2に関連した代謝を標的とした新規治療戦略の開発に取り組み、頭頸部がん治療における革新的なアプローチを提案する。
