Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、本邦で難病指定されている好酸球性鼻副鼻腔炎の病態機序の解明に取り組む。具体的には、脂質メディエーターのひとつであるプロスタグランジンE2の好酸球組織浸潤抑制作用に着目し、マウスモデルやヒト鼻茸検体を用いた好酸球性鼻副鼻腔炎におけるPGE2の詳細な作用機序を解析し、好酸球性鼻副鼻腔炎の病態や好酸球性の鼻茸形成機序を脂質の観点から解明することを目指す。
