Outline of Research at the Start

緑内障は、本邦の中途失明の原因第一位であるが、未だ有効な予防法は確立されていない。本研究は、脂質代謝異常に注目し、本邦の大規模な疫学コホートを用いて包括的な分子疫学研究を行うことで、日本人集団における脂質代謝の見地から見た緑内障リスク因子探索を行う。
