Outline of Research at the Start	葉酸投与による口蓋裂の予防メカニズムが解明されることで、葉酸の投与により予防可能な口蓋裂を予知できる可能性があり、対症療法から口蓋裂の予防を目的とした治療体系への大転換をもたらすことが期待できる。葉酸投与によりDEXによる口蓋裂が予防される分子メカニズムを解析し、JAK2/STAT経路との関連が疑われるEGFR変異やTGFA変異といった遺伝的要因や環境的要因を介して発症する口蓋裂を予防できるかを検証する。
