Outline of Research at the Start	非侵襲的に採取した唾液から性ホルモンを解析し，患者と疼痛レベルの関連を縦断的に調査し，咀嚼筋痛と関連する性ホルモンの濃度閾値を特定する．その後，咀嚼筋痛に関連を認める慢性咀嚼筋痛障害モデルマウスを作製し，卵巣摘出による性ホルモン低下条件下での，性ホルモンの局所投与による分子生物学的機能の変化を解析し，性ホルモンが疼痛に関与するメカニズムを明らかにすることを目的としている．
