Outline of Research at the Start

口腔癌のリンパ節 (Lympa Node: LN) 転移に対してわれわれは高齢者や有病者にも適応可能な低侵襲の転移LN治療を可能にするリンパ行性薬剤送達法 (Lymphatic drug delivery system: LDDS) を開発した。本研究では頸部LN転移に対するLDDSを用いたリンパ行性癌化学療法の第II相臨床試験を想定し、実際の臨床治験を計画する際に必要となる標的とすべきLNの臨床病理学的性状を、頸部郭清術症例の標本を用いて解析を進める。さらにヒトと同等の大きさのLNを有するLN転移モデルマウスを用いて、ヒトに対するリンパ行性癌化学療法の適正注入量や注入速度などの検証を行う。
