Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、地域在住高齢者において口腔機能の低下が引き起こす低栄養に対する予防プログラムを開発する。そのためには大規模コホート研究参加者の「口腔機能」と「食と栄養状態」を経時的に追跡する。そして、口腔機能の維持および向上がもたらす栄養アウトカムの変化を縦断的に検討する。さらにその結果を反映したオーダーメイドな口腔機能向上プログラムを作成し、「口から美味しく食べる」ことで地域在住高齢者の健康寿命延伸に寄与することを目的としている。
