Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、ヒト正常口腔粘膜細胞を用いたin vitro実験系を確立する。ニコチン存在下での培養ヒト正常粘膜細胞でのDNAメチル化の定量を行うことにより、DNAのメチル化状態に与える影響を明らかにすると共に、口腔がんの早期発見、疾患の進行または予後の観察のためのバイオマーカーとして利用可能か否かを明らかにする。
