Outline of Research at the Start

近年、胎児期にストレスが負荷されると、生活習慣病素因が形成され、出生後に糖尿病などの成人病を発症する「成人病の胎児期起源説（Barker説）」が注目されている。本研究では、ストレス暴露下において、妊娠マウスに積極的な咀嚼運動を行わせ、生まれてきた仔マウスの扁桃体活動の計測、体重、脂肪量、血糖値およびインスリン抵抗性（2型糖尿病の検出）、およびエネルギー代謝関連物質の定量分析を経時的に行い、妊娠期ストレスによって引き起こされる胎児性糖尿病に対し咀嚼運動が与える影響を解明する。
