Outline of Research at the Start

精神疾患の発症には遺伝要因が強く影響しているが、多因子疾患であるためその構造の理解や特性に配慮した遺伝カウンセリングを提供できる精神科医や臨床遺伝の専門家は少なく、精神疾患に関する遺伝カウンセリングは未成熟な状況にある。その要因は、精神科遺伝カウンセリングの基盤が確立していないことに起因する。本研究では、①診療録を用いた後方視的調査、②遺伝カウンセリングを受けた患者・家族へのアンケート・インタビュー調査を通じた現状や課題の把握、③他国の先進事例の検討、を踏まえ、精神科医や臨床遺伝専門家が提供可能な、患者・家族のニーズを満たす精神科遺伝カウンセリングのモデルを提案することを目的とする。
