Outline of Research at the Start	医学的知見の集積や医療技術の進歩により、かつては致死的と考えられていた疾患を持つ子どもたちの生命予後が延長し、疾患を持つ子どもたちへの「生涯」を考慮した支援の必要性が高まっている。一方。このような疾患を持つ子どもたちの「長寿化」の検討の多くは、施設単位の報告に限られ、全国単位や地域単位の分析が不足している。本研究は、人口動態統計の大規模データを用いて、慢性疾患患者の長寿化の実態や地域特性を明らかにすることを目的とする。研究成果は、超高齢社会における慢性疾患を抱える子どもたちの生涯にわたる支援を検討する上で、基盤的な情報となることが期待される。
