Outline of Research at the Start

摂食嚥下リハビリテーションを効果的かつ効率的に提供するためには，正常な嚥下動態の理解をもとに摂食嚥下患者の病態を把握することが重要である．嚥下の一連の過程で食物は必ず食道入口部 (UES) を通過する．UES開大に3つの要素が関与することは既に一定の理解が得られているが，各要素のそれぞれの役割についてはまだ十分に理解されていない．本研究では，嚥下動態の三次元可視化及び定量評価を実現した嚥下CTを用いて，UES開大に関与する3要素の役割を明確化する．さらに加齢による筋の変性や疾患による運動調整機構の破綻によるUES開大への影響を検討する．
