Outline of Research at the Start	我が国では健康寿命の延伸が喫緊の課題である。離島・へき地では医療資源が限られており、高齢者が適切な医療サービスを受ける機会は制限されている。解決策の一つに、ICTを活用した遠隔リハビリテーションがあるものの、社会実装は進んでいない。本研究では、長崎県五島市を離島・へき地のモデル地域として、高齢者のリハビリテーションに係る課題を明らかにし、理学療法士によるオンラインプラットフォームを活用した遠隔リハビリテーションを実施し、提供体制のモデルを開発・検証する。本研究を通して、離島・へき地で暮らす高齢者の健康増進に貢献し、高齢者が住み慣れた地域でリハビリテーションを受けられる社会の実現を目指していく。
