Outline of Research at the Start

本研究の目的は、食と医療の供給システムに両者の連動を組み込む新たな評価モデルを開発し、人健康と地球環境に適した食生活 (planetary health diet: PHD) への移行に伴う真のGHG排出削減効果を解明することである。具体的には、PHDへの移行に伴う慢性疾患への罹患率および重症化率の減少をモデル上に表現し、PHD普及による食と医療のGHG排出変化を2050年まで定量化する。加えて、PHDの普及度合いに着目したシナリオ分析を実施し、脱炭素社会達成と整合的な移行策を提示する。研究成果は、高齢化による医療のGHG増加の抑制策としてPHD推進戦略を立案することに貢献する。
