Outline of Research at the Start

地球温暖化は深刻化し、自然環境への影響が大きくなっている。私たちは生態系のもたらす多様なサービス（食料生産・気候変動緩和・福利）を享受できなくなる可能性が高い。本研究の目的は、持続可能な日本の地域社会の発展と生態系保全の両立を実現するために、過疎化する島嶼地域社会において持続可能な生態系保全活動を行える社会構造および活動継続に必要な政策を明らかにすることである。本研究の成果は、1.生態系保全の政策提言、2.過疎地域における地域活動促進につながる。
