Outline of Research at the Start

本研究の目的は、反植民地主義にもとづく国家の「植民地解放闘争の歴史」によって不可視化されてきた、人びとの経験を提示することである。対象は、ポルトガル植民地行政の重要拠点であった北部沿岸のモザンビーク島である。植民地統治下や紛争下のモザンビーク社会を扱う先行研究は、厳しい支配がなされた地域や解放闘争の激戦地を対象に人びとの多様な経験を捉えてきた。対して本研究は、植民地権力と密接な関係にあったモザンビーク島の人びとの生活史を聞き取ることで、先行研究とは別様のあり方で植民地権力と解放勢力のあいだで揺れ動く経験や葛藤が生きられたことを描く。
