Outline of Research at the Start

本研究の目的は、ツーリズム・ジェントリフィケーションに象徴される観光による都市の再構築の課題を、同地で観光業を営む非居住者の困難と近隣関係の変化という視点から明らかにすることにある。具体的には、世界遺産化を目指す一連の政策によって露天商の移転・立ち退きがすすむインドネシア・ジョグジャカルタ特別州のマリオボロ通りに焦点を当て、観光による都市の再構築を「都市社会において観光が果たしてきた役割の根源的な変容」という視点から批判的に考察する。
