Outline of Research at the Start

超高齢社会の現代において，高齢者が自立した生活をおくることは非常に重要であり，歩行をはじめとする日常動作を可能とする運動能力の維持が必要不可欠となる．本研究は健康寿命延伸のために日常動作を可能とする筋の機能を解明し，その筋の機能を応用した機械メカニズムの運動制御を健康増進のための運動やリハビリテーション工学分野に応用する研究である．ここでは，日常生活の質に最も影響を与える立ち上がり動作時に活動する大腿四頭筋の筋活動に着目し，大腿四頭筋を中心に鍛えることのできるレッグプレスを用いた運動に研究者の先行研究である二関節筋を含めた四肢先端の出力分布の知見を踏まえた提案をおこなう．
