本研究では、河川水およびそこから検出されたマイクロプラスチック等の試料を対象に、次世代シーケンサーを用いたメタゲノム解析によって薬剤耐性菌・耐性遺伝子を網羅的に同定し、河川水中のマイクロプラスチック汚染が薬剤耐性菌・耐性遺伝子の存在実態に及ぼす影響の解明を試みる。
