Outline of Research at the Start

This research represents the pioneering effort in integrating interdisciplinary research to address coastal hazards caused by multiple factors. It combines dynamic physics to analyze coastal, riverine, and urban areas, focusing on developing an integrated multiple coastal hazard model capable of comprehensively evaluating these physical processes. Based on this, it is possible to identify the mechanisms of flooding caused by multiple hazards that can occur in many cities in low-lying coastal areas, including Tokyo Bay.
