デジタルアーカイブが都市空間と文化の歴史を伝えるためのツールとしてどのように活用できるかについて、以下の3つのアーカイブ、①東京・神保町の書店街の都市空間に関わるエフェメラルな資料のデジタルアーカイブ、②占領期の東京の写真資料のデジタルアーカイブ、③東京・銀座の都市空間に関わるエフェメラルな資料のデジタルアーカイブを構築し、web上などで運用する。これらを活用した地域コミュニティへのアウトリーチ方策や学校教育プログラムへの寄与を念頭に置いた教育研究プランを実践し、都市空間資料に関わるデジタルアーカイブの可能性のよりよいあり方を検証する。
