Outline of Final Research Achievements

It was shown that technology could dramatically improve the co-creation capability of service receivers (service literacy) which would provide the new way to innovate service, realized through the interaction between service providers and service receivers.
We proposed "service content (experience) - service context framework for value creation" which provided the new way to explain e the process of value co-creation in service. The components of this framework, composed of experience and global/local contexts, can make it easy to discover the required technology.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

サービスイノベーションに係る経営学の研究の中ではサービスの提供者の能力の向上に係る研究が大多数を占め、サービスの受容者の能力の向上によるサービスイノベーションに着目しているものはなく、本研究のアプローチは新規なものと思われる。この新しい視点に基づき、科学的・工学的手法の役割と価値を位置づけた事に学術的価値があると思われる。サービスイノベーションを業種ではなくサービスの特性により考察する新規な方法を提示している。
また提案されたフレームワークは、サービスイノベーションを加速する要因/阻害する要因のより具体的な特定を可能にし、どのような科学的・工学的手法が求められるのか理解可能とした。
