Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We obtain results of this study as follows: 1. We proposed a mathematical model of swarm behavior based on observation of animals. 2. We constructed control strategies of swarm based on mathematical analysis using multi-agent simulation. 3. We developed legged-modular robots as an example of swarm robots and carried out experiments to demonstrate validity of analysis and control strategies. We made a bridge between biologists and engineers.
