Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The purpose of this research is to develop the cooperative PLM system infrastructure environment for product development, which is connected between plural cooperating universities' laboratories located at remote multipoint. The research treats with the following three subjects: 1) formulation of a PLM business process model that integrates product architecture (mechanism, electric control, and software), 2) proposal on how to proceed with a new product development project, related to application software management with the above PLM business process, 3) research and development of the cooperative PLM infrastructure environment that can collaborate on the final research purpose of this research PLM system by effectively utilizing various IT tools.
