Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Robust parameter design is used to make product or process quality characteristics less sensitive to manufacturing, environmental, and use fluctuations. The quality loss functions play important roles in the development of location and dispersion effect performance measures of these characteristics. We discuss a new class of asymmetric power loss functions for positive characteristics and the associated two-step procedure.
