Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In order to clarify the effectiveness of correcting and redressing cumulative discriminations in the field of employment which the anti-multiple discrimination provision possesses, I studied legislative trends and case doctrines over recent employment discrimination in the UK, EU and Japan. These researches show that the Equality Act 2010 in the UK does make express provision for discrimination on more than one ground and it is effective in correcting various discriminations. A framework for recognition of multiple forms of discrimination becomes a key part of the comprehensive discrimination legislation.
